A very warm welcome to you on behalf of The Avenue Church which is part of The Teignbridge Methodist Circuit. ‘The Avenue’ 
is a united Methodist and United Reformed Church and we are located in the Market Town of Newton Abbot in beautiful South Devon. The church is open for worship each Sunday at 11.00 am and 6.30 pm and for a host of midweek activities. Further details of worship at The Avenue can be found on the Avenue Church Tab. Dinner and Discussion Group (Jigsaw)
Have you ever wondered what life is all about? Have you got questions about life, the universe and everything which you would like to discuss? Then why not come along to our Dinner and Discussion group? Click on the above link for dates. Led by Jo Simpson, we will be looking at our questions through the teachings and claims of Jesus and the Christian faith. Dinner is free. Circuit Churches
We are part of a Methodist ‘circuit’ comprising twelve other churches extending from here in the town centre to the coast then right into the heart of Dartmoor. You will be able to take a tour of our varied circuit churches by clicking on the above link.
Our central aim at ‘The Avenue’ is to make real the glory of God our creator as He is revealed in the person and work of Jesus Christ His Son and through the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.
You will find a wealth of information about us here and we plan to keep the site up to date and developing so that you can access not only news from ‘The Avenue’, but, more important and even more exciting, you will be able to receive presentations concerning God’s Good News for today’s world as well.
