Message from our Minister Revd. Edgar Daniel 
A very warm welcome to you on behalf of The Avenue Church which is part of The Teignbridge Methodist Circuit. ‘The Avenue’ is a united Methodist and United Reformed Church and we are located in the Market Town of Newton Abbot in beautiful South Devon.
The church is open for worship each Sunday at 11.00 am and 6.30 pm and for a host of midweek activities. Further details of worship can be found on the Sunday Services tab. Our weekday activities will be found on the Activities page tab.

GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD
As we pursue our reflection on the gospel of John, we will look in the coming weeks at the statements that are often described as the “I AM” sayings of Jesus. We will look at seven metaphors through which Jesus makes a statement about Himself and His mission.
Please join us on this continuing journey of discovery into the amazing love of the God who has given His only Son so that the world may believe and live.

Teignbridge Methodist Circuit – Safeguarding ‘Module A’ Training
A REMINDER that the next training session will be held at The Avenue Church on Saturday 28th January from 9-30 am until 1-00pm led by the Rev. Bill Robertson.

Circuit Churches
We are also part of a Methodist ‘circuit’ comprising twelve other churches extending from here in the town centre to the coast then right into the heart of Dartmoor. You will be able to take a tour of our varied circuit churches by clicking on the above link.
Our central aim at ‘The Avenue’ is to make real the glory of God our creator as He is revealed in the person and work of Jesus Christ His Son and through the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.
